Bonnie is the Chief Operating Officer of Bright Energy Services, an energy engineering design and build firm that helps building owners and facility managers implement energy efficiency and environmental enhancement projects that make fiscal sense. Whether performing energy audits for building code and local law compliance, physical comfort, or as a way to significantly reduce operational expenses, Bonnie identifies and prioritizes energy and cost savings projects that will result in the greatest greenhouse gas reductions, the highest ROIs, the fastest payback periods, and the most positive impacts on human health. These energy reduction projects include, but are not limited to LED lighting, controls, HVAC, insulation, solar and renewables, and more.

Bonnie has a BA in Economics from CUNY Brooklyn College & an MBA in Marketing & Business Information Systems from Hofstra University. She is a BPI Certified Building Analyst, a LEED Accredited Professional, specializing in Operations & Maintenance, and also serves as a subject matter expert for LEED test development. Bonnie is a Certified Sustainability Manager, a WELL Accredited Professional, and is WELL Faculty. Bonnie serves on the City of White Plains Conservation Board and the City’s Sustainability Committee. She has appeared in hundreds of publications, speaking engagements, TV & radio shows and has been the recipient of numerous industry awards.


Craig Fisher
ConEd Clean Energy Solutions

Mr. Fisher has 12 years’ experience in the renewable energy sector. He serves as the program manager for the development of renewable energy opportunities in the solar engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) market as well as public sector renewable energy project acquisitions across the United States. Craig responsibilities include leading all business development initiatives, developing new channels and enabling current channels to expand solar and battery storage EPC opportunities. Craig’s responsibilities on a solar project includes identifying potential opportunities, managing customer relationships, developing the right solution for the client, coordinating internal development activities to ensure project development aligns with client expectations both technically and financially. He is the primary point of contact throughout contract negotiations and the project development process.

Rob Liflander
Peregrine Renewable Energy

Rob Liflander is the founder and president of Peregrine Renewable Energy, a full-service developer of rooftop solar power projects in Connecticut. Peregrine provides consulting, engineering and construction services to commercial property owners, including assistance with financing and government incentives. Mr. Liflander holds a BA in Economics from Brandeis University and an MBA in Finance from Columbia University.

Gabe Wing
Director of Safety and Sustainability Herman Miller

Gabe Wing is responsible for managing Herman Miller’s sustainability efforts, which include product design, environmental footprint reduction and safety. Mr. Wing has played an important role in developing Herman Miller’s environmental policies since he joined the company in 2001. Among his contributions is the integration of sustainable design principles into the company’s innovation processes. Mr. Wing also works closely with key materials suppliers to support the development of innovative products that maximize positive contributions to people and the planet. In addition, he leads CEU-accredited training sessions, based on the principles of sustainable product design, for architects, designers and engineers. Mr. Wing received a BS degree from the University of Michigan and an MS from Michigan State University, both degrees in chemical engineering. From 2002 to 2010, he was a member of the Materials and Resources Technical Advisory Group of the U.S. Group Building Council. He was appointed to Michigan’s Green Chemistry Roundtable in 2008.

Marc Karell
CCES- Climate Change and Environmental Services

Marc Karell, P.E., CEM, EBCP is an energy and environmental engineer with 30 years of experience in the fields, with specialties in energy, sustainability, and air quality. For diverse industrial, commercial, academic, and multifamily facilities, Marc has performed ASHRAE Level I, II, and III energy audits, devising strategies to maximize financial benefits of reducing energy usage and demand and managing the implementation of selected projects. He has also performed green building evaluations, carbon footprints, emission inventories of toxic air pollutants, and devised cost-effective strategies to reduce emissions. Marc has master’s degrees in both biochemistry and in chemical engineering and is a licensed professional engineer in the State of New York. Marc is the Owner of the consulting firm Climate Change & Environmental Services, LLC and an adjunct professor at New York Medical College.
