Janet has been with Krasdale Foods for 22 years as Facility Manager in their Corporate Headquarters.
Janet has been an active member with IFMA Westchester-Hudson Valley Chapter since 1996, serving as a volunteer board member in numerous capacities including Vice President, President, Chapter Administrator and currently as Secretary.
Janet is an active and committed volunteer. She is the Co-President of the CT Chapter of The Pajama Program, a mentor with Her Honor Mentoring and a Volunteer Ambassador at Lincoln Center. Previous volunteer activities include working with the NY Foundling Hospital and participating in the GMHC/Aids Walk for several years in NYC.
In 1990, Randy’s strong entrepreneurial spirit and keen industry vision culminated in the launch of his own full-service flooring maintenance company serving the commercial market. His extensive experience in various management positions with a major international pharmaceutical company, coupled with industry affiliations had yielded extensive industry resources and a solid background in facilities management.
A frequent contributor to industry publications, Randy has been quoted in and written articles for a variety of publications including Crain‘s New York Business, New York Real Estate Journal, Cleaning & Maintenance Management, Today’s Facility Manager, Facilities Design & Management, Better Buildings, Carpet & Rug Industry and Real Estate New York.
Randy shares his industry expertise while playing an active role in multiple industry, civic and cultural associations. He is Board President of the Pajama Program; Board Member of the Muscular Dystrophy Association; Board Member of the Fairfield Arts Council; past Chairman of the StarNet® Commercial Flooring Cooperative (where he also served two terms as Director); past Board Member of IFMA, Hudson Valley Chapter; and past Board Member and Director of Membership of IFMA, Connecticut Chapter.
Nicole Sheindlin is a graduate of New York Law School (’93) and the co-founder, CEO and driving force behind Her Honor Mentoring, a Westchester County based empowerment program that pairs female high school seniors with women who are leaders in their respective careers.
Co-founded with her stepmother, The Honorable Judith Sheindlin, star of the syndicated television program, “Judge Judy”, former Supervising Judge of Manhattan’s Family Court as well as a New York Law School alumna.
Nicole’s inspiration for Her Honor Mentoring came from a desire to work proactively in her own community. Nicole started Her Honor Mentoring while simultaneously working as a senior staff attorney at the Legal Aid Society’s Criminal Defense Division in Bronx County, handling all phases of criminal litigation for indigent and low income individuals accused of felonies and misdemeanors from arraignment through plea bargain or trial.
Nicole is a sought out speaker and has presented on topics including Perspectives in Philanthropy, Supporting Women and Girls at Morgan Stanley, and Maximizing Mentoring Impact for the Texas Women’s Bar Association.
She has received numerous accolades such as the Champion of Human Rights Award from the Westchester County Human Rights Commission and Community Champion Award in Education and Literacy from Volunteer New York of the United Way.
Jeanette Gisbert has been with Volunteer New York! for ten years. As their Deputy Executive Director, Jeanette focuses on mission delivery, oversees programmatic strategy and cohesion and supports revenue generating specifically related to corporate and government outreach. Prior to joining Volunteer New York!, Jeanette worked with another volunteer connector organization, New York Cares, for over seven years. As New York Cares’ first Director of Volunteer Relations she was responsible for the recruitment and management of thousands of volunteers and hundreds of volunteer leaders. Jeanette began her nonprofit career as an AmeriCorps VISTA member. She holds a BS in Management from Boston College and her Masters in Public Administration from CUNY Baruch.
The core mission of Volunteer New York! (volunteernewyork.org) is to inspire, mobilize, and equip individuals and groups to take positive action to address pressing challenges, support non-profits and improve the quality of life in Westchester, Rockland and Putnam. For more than 68 years the organization has encouraged adults to serve, youth to build character, families to bond, young professionals to lead, mature adults to share their wisdom and businesses to engage through volunteerism.
Volunteer New York! helped coordinate over 285,000 hours of service, which were devoted last year to over 500 nonprofits at a value of over $8.1 million. Meeting Dues will be $30 for IFMA Westchester / Hudson Valley Members and $60 for Non Members.
All Non Members are required to pay the Non Member rate of $60 for attending any meeting. Anyone who attends as a “guest” is required to pay the Non Member rate. Members of other IFMA Chapters are required to pay the Non Member Rate.
Registration and Payment is due before or at the meeting. We accept cash, checks and credit cards.
The January Meeting is a Welcome New Members Breakfast. Members who have joined the Chapter in the previous Calendar year are welcome to attend at no charge. The rate for Non Members who have not joined IFMA prior to the meeting will be $60. “Returning” members are not considered new members.
Non Members are permitted to attend a total of two meetings before chapter membership is required. The first meeting is free, the second meeting is charged at the Non Member rate.
Certain meetings may be special event meetings and will be priced differently.
All “No Shows” who are confirmed to attend will be invoiced for the event. Any cancellations less than 24 hours from the event will not receive a refund or credit.
