On Wednesday, May 16, 2018, IFMA Westchester County-Hudson Valley Chapter was honored to receive a proclamation from the Westchester County Executive, George Latimer, making the day “World FM Day” in the county of Westchester. He did this to recognize the significant role Facilities Management plays in the built environment. The proclamation also recognizes our chapter and our meeting theme of giving back to the communities we serve by the “Putting for a Purpose” activity where we donated close to 1000 food items to “Feeding Westchester”. The venue, Belvedere Estate in Tarrytown, World FM Day, the “Putting for a Purpose” activity, the catered food and the Proclamation from the county all came together to produce a momentous evening!
The IFMA Foundation thanks you and your chapter for your very generous contribution as summarized below:
The IFMA Westchester County – Hudson Valley Chapter.
As a fellow IFMA Chapter we know how important it is to support the continuation of Facility Management through education, research and awareness.
As President and on behalf of our board, we would like to support the foundation by donating a check for $2,500. Please accept our contribution with the most appreciation.
We greatly appreciate your support and please thank your board on our behalf!!!
IFMA Hudson Valley Chapter partners with the Pajama Program to help support their initiatives. We collect Pajamas, Books or Toys to help with their services each year.
Our own Janet Estevez is a leader in the Connecticut chapter.
In addition, many of our members support great causes in and around the Hudson Valley, Westchester, Rockland, Putnam and Dutchess Counties.
We promote those initiatives to our membership and email list, and encourage philanthropy in our community.
